PROCESS
Kitsap Curb will send out an Estimator / Consultant to meet with you at your project or home. We will provide a broad sampling of ideas to enhance the look of your yard and suggest alternative means to save time on maintenance. If you need a comprehensive landscape design for large areas we can put you in touch with a reputable landscape architect in your area. At the end of our meeting we will provide you with a written estimate and sketch of the proposed layout.

Preparing for your curb!
A sod cutter, shovels, and sand are used to prepare the ground for your new curbing. We are very careful in working around your existing landscaping. Our equipment is specifically designed to preserve your lawn and the other surroundings. The trench for the mower style curb is cut 1.5 to 2 inches deep to ensure that the front edge of the mower strip is at the same height of a well-established lawn. |

Mixing / Curbing / Trowel Work
The concrete is mixed to proper proportions in a mortar mixer. Our mix of Portland cement, washed mortar sand, air entrainment solution and reinforcing polypropylene fiber creates a strong, durable "winterized" concrete product. The machine produces a curb with a compressive strength of 3,000 PSI !!! We then meticulously trowel to achieve the beautiful finish. |
Worried about the clean-up? Don't!!!
Kitsap Curb is in the business of giving you beautiful curbing while minimizing the impact to your landscaping. We do not require the wood forms, cement trucks, and messy mixing processes of conventional concrete jobs. |

The Curb and the Finish
The concrete mix is wheeled to the site, fed into the curbing machine, and extruded into a beautiful continuous concrete landscape border. The finishing touches to your beautiful curb is accomplished by using specialized trowels. Control joints are then cut to facilitate some flexibility and avoid cracking. |
